Day 468

Since the untimely demise of Gilmore Girls I've been searching for a new program to watch to drain my brain.  I found it.  Tori and Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood. My first official dive into US reality television.  Well, not really. I do secretly watch the Kardashians from time to time (but don't tell anyone).  Oh, and of course there is that home renovation show Tahlia and I are into - Extreme Makeover: Home Edition.  So it isn't my first dive into reality at all.  I lied ...

Tori and Dean.  What better way to mourn the loss of Beverly Hills 90210 than to stalk Donna Martin in her real life persona.  My bestie put me onto this show.  Little did she know she'd be giving up her Bestie title in the process.  Donna ... oh, sorry ... (whoops) ... Tori is my new best friend now. I love it! It's reality without all the yelling and screaming and face slapping.  Just a nice ordinary (albeit rich and famous) family going about the daily adventures of marriage, work and raising kids. Plus she writes books.  Bonus.

I've got to tell you, Tori is very thin.  Like really thin.  Kind of drawn looking and all bony.  So bony she's kind of stooped. I know that isn't a very nice thing to say, but there's nothing of her! And what happened to her bum? She is wearing skinny jeans and there is no bum to hold them up.  Of course I'm just jealous.  And she does admit she's too thin and she's trying to put on weight. But I'm worried.  Now that she's my new best friend and all ... it's my job to worry.  She's a beautiful person.  She just needs to eat ...

This show isn't all reality and stalkerish you know. There is some valuable information in there too. We could even call it a documentary! Definitely educational. Like the chicken diaper.  Bet you didn't know about them!! Little nappies you put on your pet chooks to keep their poo all contained.  Huh! That information has enhanced my being no end. I'm a better person now.

Thanks Tori for cocktails at your place last night.  Oh, and for growing my intellect in the process.  You rock!! I'll talk to you about a coffee catch up next week.

In the meantime, please eat something ...

  1. Oh dear. The chicken nappy made me sick up a little in my mouth. So wrong on so many levels and yet so Tori Spelling.
