Day 948

Image borrowed from www.survivingunemployment.com
I've hit a brick wall. I have done it all ... everything ... I cannot move any further.  Yet nothing is finished.  In fact, with only 6 weeks until product launch, things are far from finished. Everything is now in the hands of other people.  And I sit here and tap my fingernails on the desk, shuffle my feet, drink tea and stare at the computer waiting for the rest of the world to catch up.

My forward movement is currently in the hands of other people. I don't like that feeling.

Control freak?

  1. Others would say yes, but my theory (having been accused of the same) is that if I am doing whatever the task maybe, it will be done properly, efficiently and on time.

Sadly, I have found the same cannot always be said of others.

BUT, you have assembled this team. They are your choices and as such will be efficient, and organised and good at what they do. So sit back, try not to chew the ends of your fingernails, let them do what you have asked them to.

  3. It's your baby, of course it's hard to leave it in someone elses hands! But it WILL all work out, and there is no use stressing when you can't do anything anyway, so put your feet up and enjoy the tea while it's still hot. xx
