Day 1322 - Foods that could help make your stomach flatter

As a Deep Fried woman of the world I am always on the look out for tips and tricks to help other Deep Fried ladies feel fit and fabulous in their own skin.  One thing that people complain of a lot as they age is a swollen stomach region.  Don't fear! Apparently there's food that can help with that ...



I have just discovered that these wonder foods can help flatten out that pesky belly.


  1. Fennel: It's a natural diuretic which helps your body get rid of excess water.  Apparently celery gets the job done too.
  2. Plain yoghurt: Any kind will do as long as it is rich in probiotics which can improve digestion.  Just look for live and active cultures on the container's label.
  3. Ginger or peppermint: Apparently both are helpful at keeping gas at bay. I'm in! Try hot or iced ginger or peppermint tea (but keep it unsweetened to avoid unnecessary calories).  As an added  bonus both ginger and peppermint are also touted as great migraine relief, and can also help with nausea.  They may just be my new super food! 
  4. Pineapple: This tropical beauty is loaded with bromelain which is an enzyme that promotes digestion and eases bloating.  Papaya is another tropical de-puffer.
So there you have it! Some new bits and pieces to add to your shopping trolley to help fight the paunch. Don't say I never do anything for ya ...
