Day 1360 - A Girl's Night Out

It was a special 40th birthday celebration.

A chauffeur driven champagne drive
After missing a friend's 40th birthday party I decided to give her a 40th birthday-versary by taking her out exactly two months later for a girls only evening.  I told her to get frocked up and enlisted the support of my husband who dressed as a chauffeur for the evening. He took us for a champagne drive before depositing us at a local cocktail bar for a few hours.  I'd say it was a good night!

 Bubbles anyone?

Thank you Jeeves!

  11. What a great idea- also means that you get some quality time to really catch up with a good friend which a big event might not allow.

  12. It was so great of you to organize a girls night out for your friend's 40th birthday, even if it was two months late. What a way to make up for the lateness! I absolutely love that your husband dressed up as a chauffeur for the night for the two of you. What a supportive guy!
