Day 1457 - Revenge

Are you all about Revenge?
Revenge is not something that I'm into personally, unless you're talking about the TV series and then YES I am all about the Revenge! And you could be too.

Last Christmas my sister-in-law got the DVD box set of Revenge Season One and we sat and watched it back to back to back to back with complete awe and wonder over a two week period.  I was tempted to get botox to my forehead afterwards as my "Oh My God" lines were permanently fixed in the corrugated iron position from all the wide-eyed open-mouthed gasping we were doing as the plot thickened and the story line got more twisted. The suspense in this series is insane!

When Season Two came onto our screens over winter I was ready and waiting to get a new fix.  But alas my ability to keep up-to-date with prime time viewing is a little wobbly so I decided instead to wait until the box set came out again to renew my Revenge obsession.  Avoiding the TV ads was tricky, but for the sake of keeping the suspense in the upright position I battled through and I can safely say I got through winter without having any idea as to how the story has progressed.

Until now.

You can imagine my delight when I skipped gaily to the letterbox last week (trudged to the letterbox grunting and groaning) to find Season Two had magically appeared.  Wahooooooooo!!!!

It is with much delight that my Oh My God lines have resurfaced as I watch Emily back in the Hamptons to avenge her enemies.  Left hanging on the edge of my seat at the end of last season I can now reveal what really happened in that plane crash (but I won't) and that a new face appears on the series that further complicates the web of deceit making the plot even more tangled and twisted.

It's all just so tasty!!

WIN WIN WIN

As I rub extra moisturiser and loads of micro-sculpting serum into my forehead I get to not only ogle at the antics of Emily Van Camp, but I also get to offer THREE lucky readers the chance to win the ENTIRE Season Two box set of Revenge.  Isn't that delicious?

Not only do you get the entire season but there is a bunch of other cool stuff as well including a behind the scenes look at the inspiration for Revenge, the secrets to styling the Revenge characters, an audio commentary by the cast and crew, some deleted scenes and the all important bloopers/outtakes.

Revenge Season Two is available from tomorrow 2 October 2013. To win your very own box set, and to get your own set of Oh My God lines, all you need to do is tell me how badly you want it.  It's that simple! If you want it REAL BAD you can get an extra TWO entries by sharing the Deep Fried Facebook post or retweeting the Deep Fried tweet! Greedy greedy, but so in keeping with the theme.

PLEASE be sure to give me enough details to track you down.  If I can't find you, or if winners don't get back to me within five days of the draw, I will have to have a redraw. The competition is open to Aussie residents only and closes on my birthday - that's this Friday 4 October 2013 at midnight. You can enter via comment here on the blog, Deep Fried FacebookDeep Fried Twitter #DFFRevenge, email or text.

Reminder: Today is the last day of the Jungle Book give-away. If you haven't entered yet, head to Twitter #DFFJungleBook and simply say "ME".  Winners will be revealed tomorrow.

  5. I have been listening to everyone talk about Revenge since it started, I have tended to watch shows where it won't matter if I miss a few here and there. And then I started watching Revenge last week (has it only been a week??? I'm pretty sure!!) I am up to episode 21 of season 1, in a week! I don't know wuite how that happened, but it is AWESOME, I love the suspense and I love watching it back to back and not having to wait each week to see it on tv!!! I would love to win season 2, I might go into Revenge Withdrawal otherwise!!!
