Day 1653 - Noosa

We have lots of favourite beaches - Noosa is among them ...

Noosa Beach

We are having a one night stop over in Noosa as we head north.  Noosa is one of Derek's favourite places so it it's important to him that we make the most of our one night stay.  That means a super early start leaving the Gold Coast and a super special hotel at a not-so-super-special price.

We left the Gold Coast hotel by 6.30am and ate breakfast on the road, arriving into Noosa at 9.30am. Derek checked us into the Sebel on Hastings Street which is costing us around $300 for the night.  Ouch! We're not usually that posh.  I'm the bargain basement girl. Never pay full price for anything if I can help it.  But Derek wanted this to be special, and special it is.

By 10.00am we were safely nestled in among the hundreds of other holiday makers between the flags at Noosa Beach.

Here's a sneak peek of our Noosa Sojourn.

Note: The boutiques on Hastings Street are calling my name ... this little detour may cost us a little more than $300.  I've already spotted four lovely dresses.  How do I choose just one? Let the bargain hunting begin.

  1. When you're in Noosa do you have to splash out, my parents lived there for awhile and I loved visiting. Sometimes we all have to splash out, like when my sisters and I went to the Sea Temple in Port Douglas, well worth it. Just divine. Glad it was good weather for you all x

  4. I love staying just a little south of Noosa. That coast line is jut unbeatable.
