Day 1681 - Autumn in Canberra

What's left of the leaves on this somewhat Wordless Wednesday

I LOVE autumn in Canberra. But this year (alas) I missed most of the colour because I was interstate for much of April and the start of May.   These pics above are all I have left.  Leaves on the ground from all of our trees except one.  The brittle remains of many .... and the firey red of one. I will marvel in the beauty of that one tree every day for the next few weeks until it too because the source of compost.

  1. That fiery red is awesome! We have lots of colour around us here in Sydney at the moment, mainly rich oranges and golds. I think this is my favourite season.
