Day 1792 - Contributing back

It's a good feeling to give back to the community.

Leanne representing ACT Regional Cheerleading and Michelle from Ronald McDonald House Canberra
I am lucky enough to be involved in a sport that is full of commitment, enthusiasm, support and spirit not just for each other, but also for those in need.  Our recent ACT Regional Cheerleading Competition raised $4700 for Ronald McDonald House this year plus a wad of cash from my Cheer Chick Charlie stall and from Row's Bows.  Presenting the cheque to them this morning felt good.  That money will allow a family to stay in Ronald McDonald House Canberra for just over a month while their child is cared for in the nearby hospital.

If you would like to give to this wonderful cause simply contact your nearest Ronald McDonald House via their Aussie website.

  1. That is so awesome. As a country parent Ronald McDonald houses are sometimes the only but best places to go.

  4. A splendid organisation and a generous gift.
I was so grateful for the adult version too while I was away from home having radiation. They were building a new RMH too across from the from the lodge.
