In a recent edition of Redbook Magazine (October 2014) a bunch of neurologists were interviewed to share some of their tips for keeping the memory sharp.  Richard Isaacson, MD, director of the Alzheimer's Prevention Clinic at Weill Cornell Medical College in New York, says that the social engagement we get from Facebook is proven to protect the brain.  A recent study showed that the brains of people with more Facebook friends tend to have denser memory centres.

So there it is - as we head into this land of being Deep Fried we've got the proof that fluffing around on social media is good for us.

You're welcome ...
