Day 1848 - Brisbane's South Bank

Fantastic family fun

Streets Beach has water, shade, rocks, sand and sunbeds.
While Derek and I are in Brisbane so be near our Chels, we've been regular visitors to the Southbank Street Beach.  She's in Mater Private Hospital and we're staying right next door, so it's just a short walk to this great free Brissy attraction.  It's a great place to take baby Lola and we look forward to sharing it with our own kids one day soon.  The best part is it's patrolled year round.  Awesome! South Bank isn't all about this inner city man-made beach.  It's a filled with parks, restaurants, giant shady trees, bike paths and great walking tracks.  Love it!

  1. Our family has had many a stroll and lunch in and around South Bank - you are only 50 minutes away from me!

  2. It's a great spot isn't it but (when I lived in Brissy) I never went there (other than to QPAC, Art Gallery, State Library etc).
