Day 1949 - Middle Age Fashion #ootd #middleagestyle

It must be time for some Deep Fried Styling.

As you know I like to show how we can look fabulous in middle age, without breaking the bank.  This outfit is perfect for a summer weekend.

Orange is one of my favourite clothing colours and teamed with white and brown accessories it screams "I'm just casually going about my business and looking fabulous in the process".  Yes?

I love a good maxi that hides the fact I haven't shaved my legs and covers the need to suck in my stomach.  This one's great because it is long enough for me to go right to my ankles (at 174cm I can't always find a dress long enough).

The white moccasins shout comfy feet and weekend casual.

The cross body bag let's me walk easily and shop freely.

The bangles, necklace and ring just take the outfit to the next level - you can go from hanging around the house, to the mall, to the markets and then to lunch. Easy.

  • Dress from Target (around $30)
  • Stevie clutch from Sash & Belle (currently $20)
  • White moccasins from Kmart ($15)
  • Stack of wooden look bangles and beads from Diva (two years ago)
  • Necklace bought from a stall at Moruya markets ($12)
  • Ring from Naieve Funky Costume Jewellery in Bateman's Bay ($15)
  • Guess sunglasses ($30 outlet shopping)

Happy styling!
