Day 2188 - Tumeric Tea

Do you suffer from chronic pain?

Between my migraines, the fibromyalgia, stress and muscle tension, and the plain ol' "you're just getting old" aching joints, I'm feeling a whole world of pain right now.

So it was with great interest that I checked out a website that my cousin put me onto for tumeric tea.

You'll recall around a year ago I praised the anti-inflammatory benefits of tumeric.

Praising it and actually cooking enough meals that include tumeric are two different things.

So I was delighted to discover that we don't have to cook with it ... we can simply drink it!

How to make tumeric tea:

  • Boil 4 cups of water
  • Add one dessert spoon of tumeric
  • Simmer for 10 minutes
  • Serve (with lemon or honey or just on its own).

That's enough for a few servings. I put mine in a jug for the fridge.  I intend to heat it up cup by cup in the microwave each morning.

I can't yet tell if it's working.  I've only had one cup and it magic didn't happen.

We'll see!
