Day 2384 - Anzac Day 2016

Lest we forget

My ANZAC Day was spent flying in from Singapore.  Although as we flew over Sydney at dawn and circled until our curfew, I was able to have my own personal remembrance thoughts as I watched the sun rise out the window.

Sydney airport had display boards lit up with ANZAC Day thoughts to remind travellers of the significance of the day. Then before we departed Sydney on our Canberra flight the pilot had us all participate in a minute of reflective silence.

My ANZAC Day wasn't spent attending a march nor a dawn service, but it was still filled with the spirit of those who have fought for us.

Lest we forget.

What did you do on ANZAC Day?
