Day 2407 - Wordless Wednesday

The weekly photo album.

First things first - let's buy a winter hat.
Forever 21 $29.95
It's another week in the life of this author, blogger, consultant and mumager.

I'm not sure what to write about today, so instead I've latched onto Wordless Wednesday to give you my week in pictures ...

SUNDAY - A trip to Sydney

More food on the road.
Something's got to give with my constant weight gain.
This week marks the decision to ditch the bread and the pasta and any other big carbs.
Bunless burger from Create Your Taste at McDonalds
MONDAY - Doing Sydney things

Being the mumager as the model daughter walks in her first ever Fashion Week
Hello Sydney!
Finding lovely little public reading nooks  which inspire the author in me to create a revised plan for the year.
It's time to get my author focus back - it's about BEING the AUTHOR,

TUESDAY - A day in the home office

Spending time at my desk catching up on all things admin.
Finding ways to BE THE AUTHOR
Also spending lots of time focusing on family, particularly as one of our extended crew experiences tough times.
The Tree of Life candle helps to create a sense of calm, hope and belief in the possibilities,
The love of a family wins in the end.

Finding new recipes for low fat, vegetarian, family friendly, comfort food.
Vegetable, lentil and chick pea soup with cheese flat bread toasties.
Winner winner vego dinner!

TODAY - Another trip to Sydney - Author and Mumager

After rolling out the Cheer Chick Charlie series into ANZ book shops one book at a time,
we've finally arrived at book number seven.
We're now up to date and ready for the Book Eight release in June/July this year.
Book Seven delivered to the distributor today.

This is me BEING THE AUTHOR.
Well, it's me admiring the beach near my distributor.
But that's kind of like me BEING THE AUTHOR.
This is me being extremely hungry and forgetting that I'd ditched the bread.
Eating lunch at 3pm before heading to a networking catch up with a writer friend.
I'll get back onto that whole carb-free approach tomorrow.
Supporting my kids from a distance.
Getting photos of my boy in his regional cross country event today.
Wish I could be in two places at once buddy.
Next time.
Settling in for an early night.
The model daughter's call time is 6.30am tomorrow.
So it's a small evening snack (on account of that late lunch), meaningless TV and a good book.

That's me so far this week.

How about you?

  1. I'm lying low hoping the feeling in my left leg from the knee down finally returns to normal following my Sydney trip. Hoping that this isn't the start of my new reality because dragging one leg around is a pain and slowing me down.

    1. Yeah some carbs are good. But bread is not my friend. I never feel good after it, but for some reason I keep going back to it.
