Day 2408 - The Good Dinosaur - Now available on DVD and Blu-ray

Who doesn't love a good dinosaur movie?

Disney Pixar is back doing wonderful Disney Pixar things - this time with dinosaurs!

In another Deep Fried Disney collaboration, we've got THREE copies of the newly released The Good Dinosaur DVD/Blu-ray to give away.

It's been a long time between Deep Fried Disney movies, but with the awesome new release schedule sitting on my desk, I can tell you it's well worth the wait.

First on the list is The Good Dinosaur.

Released in Digital format in April and on DVD and Blu-ray just last week, it's definitely one to add to your DVD library.  As always, it's one the entire family can enjoy.

It's all about an "asaurus" called Arlo who has to confront his fears and work out where he fits in the world.  By "asaurus" I mean something dinosaurish.  An apatosaurus perhaps?  Does that mean he's patable?

Anyway, Arlo is 11 years old and is the runt of the litter.  He does his best to keep up with his family and do all the jobs he needs to do around the family farm, but he's just not as brave as his siblings.

Then one day Arlo gets himself in strife via a raging river, getting swept hundreds of miles away from his home.

It's Arlo versus nature.

With every challenge he faces his confidence starts to grow but it's the brand new friendship he builds with Spot the human boy that creates the biggest changes in Arlo.

Spot is wild and tough and everything that Arlo is not.  Yet through this unique friendship Arlo learns to not only embrace their differences, but he also learns that he is capable of much more than he ever gave himself credit for.

Directed by Peter Sohn (Wall-E, Finding Nemo, Up), the film features a mix of new voices including Jeffrey Wright (Casino Royale, The Hunger Games), Anna Paquin (True Blood) and introduces Raymond Orchoa as Arlo and Jack Bright as Spot.

WIN, WIN, WIN

In celebration of the new release, Disney and Deep Fried Fruit are offering THREE Deep Fried readers the opportunity to win a copy of the movie.

To enter simply tell me, if you were a dinosaur, what sort of "asaurus" would you be?

Perhaps a fun-asaurus, grump-asaurus, sigh-asaurus, book-asaurus, wine-asaurus, smile-asaurus ...

The options are limitless!

You can enter via blog comment, Deep Fried Twitter, Deep Fried Instagram, Deep Fried Facebook, email (leanne at leanne shea langdown dot com) or text. Each medium gives you an additional entry.

Make sure you leave enough details so I can track you down if you win.

The competition closes midnight on Wednesday 25 May 2016 and is open to Aussie residents only.

Good luck!

  6. Sounds like a fab movie! I'd be an uncosaurus. Pretty self-explanatory, so I'll just say that if dinosaurs had survived this far, the uncosaurus would have evolved to have an in-built pair of crutches.
    Thanks for hosting the giveaway.
