|The wall decorations at Gilley's Las Vegas|
Gilley's is a saloon, dance hall, restaurant and bull riding arena.
Situated just outside Treasure Island Hotel and Casino, Gilley's is a great place to let loose and eat some good ol' fashioned Texas BBQ.
We first visited Gilley's in 2012 where we ate dinner on the deck overlooking the Las Vegas strip. Today we chose it as our lunch venue for our final day in Sin City.
It's much quieter in the day time, that's for sure. Come evening it's one big boot scooting, mechanical bull riding, barbecue eating, honky tonk hot spot that's fueled by beer, bourbon and bikini clad women.
It's all in good fun though! There are live bands, line dancing lessons, karaoke nights and much much more.
The menu consists of meat, meat and more meat, as well as chili, grits, ribs, burgers, Mexican, salads and desserts. Everything you'd find at a traditional southern BBQ.
|There's even something to eat if you're a salad queen like me.|
You can find Gilley's at 3300 S Las Vegas Boulevard right next to the iconic Treasure Island pirate ship.
