Welcome to Wordless Wednesday.
So today is the day we share photos instead of words. But as you know, I am NEVER wordless, so you'll have to put up with some chatter around the edges of my Wednesday.
It's no secret that I am loving my new Samsung Galaxy phone (it's new but I've actually got the 6 not the 7 because I'm cheap like that).
One of the reasons I love it so much is because of the camera.
The camera is great for all sorts of reasons, but I'm most interested in the selective focus.
I've never had a fancy camera and I've always admired a person's ability to focus on the primary subject and blur out the background. There's something totes profesh about it.
I think what I love about that approach is the perspective. The ability to fully capture what's right in front of you without being distracted by the background. It's a pretty decent metaphor for life really.
So with the press of just one "button" I can change my photography mode from "auto" to "selective focus" and get a whole new take on my close up photos.
The following pictures are not perfect. I literally ran around my front yard yesterday afternoon and took these pictures in less than five minutes, but it's enough to give you an idea for what's possible with a camera phone.
Perhaps we should all have a "selective focus" button to better capture the detail of what matters most in of our lives.
Do you have a fancy camera?
What do you love about your phone?
Which phone would you recommend for picture quality?
Any other Samsung lovers out there?
