I'd like to introduce you to Thursday.
Are you friends with Thursday? It's one of those days that just kind of hangs there without too much fanfare. It's not as irksome as its hump day older brother, nor is it as joyous as FriYay, its party hard little sister.
Thursday is a day that tends to fly under the radar.
Monday is full of action and a bit in your face of the "love it or hate it" variety.
Tuesday is the quiet achiever that everyone tends to accept and befriend.
Wednesday is just plain obnoxious and toys with people's emotions as it dangles you from that midway point across a seemingly endless abyss.
Friday is that cheerleader friend that fills you full of hope and fun and encourages you across the finish line.
Saturday is extremely social, kind of sporty and loves to shop.
Sunday is very nurturing and likes to stroke your hair and give you cuddles.
Thursday is kind of quiet. It just sits in the corner and minds its own business. Thursday is that day that unless you actually address it directly, people might forget that it exists. If you ask me, it's completely under appreciated.
When you get to know Thursday you find out she has a lot to offer. She's a great team player and she gets on so well with all the other days. In fact, she's the one that encourages Wednesday to stop annoying everyone and she's also the one that reminds Friday to cheer nicely from the sidelines rather than run up to people screaming for them to score.
Thursday helps you take stock. She encourages you to look back with positivity at the week so far and determine what else is needed to finish the week off with results.
She's not a bad friend to have.
The name Thursday is derived from Middle English "Thuresday" meaning "Thor's Day". It's the day we can hold our hammer's high in the air with strength and conviction.
In Buddhist Thailand Thursday is considered the "Teacher's Day" and it is believed that one should begin their education on this day.
So many things to love about Thursday.
A bunch of us have decided that we don't want Thursday sitting in the corner being undervalued and under appreciated anymore. We've made a decision to bring Thursday out for her turn in the spotlight.
Thursday is now the day we're Lovin' Life!
The Lovin' Life Linky has moved from the mothering arms of Sunday to join the "take stock" attitude of Thursday with not one but SIX Lovin' Life hosts.
Deep Fried Fruit, Seize the Day Project, Debbish, Write of the Middle, 50 Shades of Age and Lifestyle Fifty have all banded together on this ageing positively journey to embrace the Lovin' Life concept as a team.
We all agree that Thursday is the day to hang out with.
So without further ado I declare the new Thursday Lovin' Life Linky OPEN.
Do you have a favourite day?
