Mine took a bit of a "dive" last week and I achieved very little. Let's just say that with a combination of family commitments and me feeling unwell and out of sorts, I didn't do much in the way of exercise at all.
But we have those weeks and we can't beat ourselves up too much.
Let's concentrate on the positives instead.
So, in the last 7 days since my previous check-in, this is what I have managed to achieve:
- 13 kms walked
- 40 situps
- 80 leg raises
- 40 dips
- 20 knee lifts
- 20 push ups
- Plenty of fresh air
- 3 days of lounge room dancing
- lots of salad
- good sources of iron
- minimal bread
- minimal pasta
- loads of green tea
- a few too many chai lattes
- swapped my normal ice-cream to Skinny Cow ice-cream which at least makes me feel a little better about my ice-cream addiction
- drank around 14 litres of water
After a rough 2 weeks with migraine, fibro pain, stress and some blue days, I've managed to hit the ground running this week with lots of plans, renewed energy and belief in the possibilities. My fit and fabulous mindset has returned.
This week I'm concentrating on being the author as I get ready for my book launch this weekend and I plan to walk into that celebration Saturday feeling as fit and fabulous as I can be.
I also plan to ditch the bread and pasta COMPLETELY this week (which includes flat bread) and only eat ice-cream two nights (instead of all 7). We'll see how I go, shall we?
