So we're straight back into the swing of things.
Well ... kinda ...
Monday was void - we were unpacking and recovering. Oh, and I had my first Neuro Physio appointment to try and get a handle on my "mystery virus" which left me a little incapacitated. Well, actually, it left me downright disabled until this morning. More about that later ...
Monday night I had cheerleading with a big challenge to overcome in the lead up to our first comp in NSW in a fortnight. Of course my beautiful cheerleaders pulled together and in true cheer spirit gave us the session of their lives and not just rose to the challenge but conquered it. I am one very proud coach. And very relieved coz an hour before our session I was in tears ...
After cheer I went to bed with a shocking headache due to aforementioned Neuro Physio and woke up in the middle night feeling like I had a broken neck. Not that I have a clue what a broken neck should feel like but I would imagine this would come pretty close. That meant yesterday ended up a virtual write-off because I could hardly move let alone function. The pain in my neck, head and face was EXTREME! Anyway, I spoke to the physio and this outcome was expected. Oh really? Thanks for the warning! I am only suffering mild discomfort today. While I am very open to the suggested diagnosis (will tell you about that tomorrow) I am not sure I am looking forward to next appointment.
Today it is right back into client sessions and meetings. I have also been overseeing some cheer organisational issues and am fielding quite a few text and email messages from around the traps from people who seem to have been waiting for my return. How lovely to feel needed and wanted. But hey, can I ease back into this slowly?
No?
Ok then. Let's get started ...
Just as a side issue, I think I need to book a hair appointment desperately. Just thought I'd throw that out there. Oh, and cooking a batch of cup cakes would be good too. Oh shit! I forgot to buy bloody eggs ..... (bugger) ....
I tried to leave a comment yesterday but the iphone ate it up! :( . Next time you get stuck with no eggs and want cupcakes try this recipe. http://aww.ninemsn.com.au/food/787026/egg-and-dairy-free-cupcakes
ReplyDeleteIt is our all time favourite cupcake recipe :) . xo
