What's the difference between a draftsman and an architect?
Ummm ... about $2000.
I finally rang a builder about getting our house assessed for some add-ons. He is coming around today to look at what we have to work with. Then he will make a decision as to whether we need a draftsman or an architect. The draftsman apparently draws up plans based on your vision, whereas the architect helps you create the vision if you don't quite have it yet.
So that's it. It's officially started. Today is step one in getting my very own PROPER home office ... and in Derek getting his very own indoor/outdoor entertaining area.
Hi!!! Saw your comment on Maxavella Loves and thought I'd try to comment today...without having to give up on guessing the two verification words!! Now you'll be sick of me ;-)
ReplyDeleteExciting news. Hope you can go the draughtsman route. Definitely a lot cheaper. I've lost all my drawing skills, we did a bit of draughting at uni for interior design. How fabulously fun for you all!!!
It worked. Yippee!!
ReplyDeleteProbs pushing it for a 3rd comment, right? Lol.

Do you have any lovely ideas for the interior design of my new office?
How exciting, I'd say an architect will be able to make your housey dreams come true :)
ReplyDeleteI have to admit Michelle that the thought of renovating made me think of you!!!
