Canberra Olympic Pool |
Derek will tell you many a story about the
The diving pool in the foreground with the under cover Olympic pool behind it |
Some shade and the baby pool |
The diving towers with the city in the background |
The beach volley ball courts (minus the nets) |
Low level spring boards |
Great for learning to dive |
Also good for learning your front salts |
But for Mum is more about staying on dry land reading a book. |
What a great pool. I love places that have something for everyone!!
ReplyDeleteLuv It! Fun for the Kiddo's & Relaxing for Mom :)

When I was competitive Gymnastics and Trampolining (State and Nationals respectively) I tried a little bit of diving, and I loved it!! More so the spring board, the 10m tower NEVER enticed me that much!
ReplyDeleteBut what I loved most was trampolining; and my favourite 'trick' was either the full in or full out (full twisting double front where the full twist was either at the start or finish (IN or OUT))!
Oh how I miss those days...
p.s. - It’s also saults, as in somersaults, not salts :)
Mines up as well at AussiePomm - A Photographers Kit!!!!
Have a great day!!
cool pics! :)
ReplyDeleteI like the last photo! Laying out with a good book looks great while the kids have fun :)
ReplyDeleteLooks like a little bit of bliss!
ReplyDeleteHappy birthday Canberra, one of my favourite cities :-)
