What I love about our backyard ....

Our backyard is somewhat bedraggled and has lots of stuff that requires a great deal of work, but there's something appealing about that. Our home is brick with wooden trim and exposed beams that gives us a little feel of the country in Canberra suburbia. Our backyard complements it perfectly with dirt paths, pine trees, a vege patch, patchy lawn and beautiful bird life. It's rustic. And while the deck may well collapse before he year is out (yes, it's high on our list of priorities when money becomes available) it's definitely "home".
Enjoy a slice of "Langdown Lodge" on this (relatively) Wordless Wednesday.

ReplyDeleteIt looks lovely - a relaxing place to be.
ReplyDeleteI'm in love - the trees, the deck, the cubby house, the compost tumbler, the french windows!
ReplyDeleteI think that cubby house could very well make a perfect writing studio!
