Day 1392 - Tips for a Better Memory

Have you ever wanted to juggle? I mean we all juggle.  We juggle parenting with work with relationships with projects with "me"time.  But how about the actual throwing of balls in the air in a continuous motion to create a circular dance of precision and coordination? There's a small part of me that would love to learn to juggle.  It turns out it's not only a cool party trick but it's a proven technique to build a better memory.

 A study at Oxford University showed that juggling improved connections between nerve fibres that carry signals and link certain parts of the brain.  Apparently juggling also helps the area of our brain that processes and stores visual information (eg memories).  So these wise peeps at the Uni are suggesting that if we juggle three or four times a day for two or three minutes we'll keep our memories working effectively.  How's that for a Deep Fried Fact!  Time to get your balls out ...
