Day 1424 - Hang Gliding for Mice

I saw an interesting thing when out driving this morning ....

As I was stopped at the traffic lights a bird flew past my front windscreen with a mouse in his claws.  Reminded me of when we were driving across the NSW Outback a few years ago and an eagle carrying a live rabbit cruised past. It was a sight I had never seen before and thought I would never see again.  Somewhat surreal.  Seeing land animals gliding at altitude actually looks like fun, like some sort of extreme sport.  It would be nice to think they're having a lovely day of hang gliding.  It's a shame the sport ends with the mouse and bunny being the main course at nature's alfresco dining.
