Day 1476 - Belmore Manor Bed and Breakfast Junee

Can you believe I've never stayed in a B&B until this weekend?

I'm not sure why I've never taken this accommodation option before.  Staying at a B&B in a country town really accentuated the whole country town experience.

Belmore Manor is situated at 30 Belmore Street in Junee which is just a short walk to the town centre, railway station, pubs and clubs.  It's a fabulous old house that has had a few purposes including that of a private hospital.  The old operating theatre is now one of their many sitting rooms and the babies room is now a kids bedroom.  There's bunch of themed sleeping quarters throughout the place, and to increase the sleeping capacity they've got an old train carriage out the back yard converted to two separate "cottages".  Their huge garden is absolutely spectacular and provides lots of spots to sit and read, blog and chat with friends.  We booked 7 bedrooms in total for our wedding junket with all the mates and wives filling in time between the wedding and the reception with an esky and a bunch of chairs out in the backyard.  Fabulous!  What's even better is that after a big night of drinking, eating, dancing and talking, we woke up to the aroma of bacon and eggs for breakfast. You can't get better than that.

Here are some pics. Enjoy!
