Carrots are good for your eyes! Have you ever seen a rabbit wearing glasses?
Are you squinting to see this post on your screen? If you said yes, you may need more betacarotene in your diet. The stuff that makes carrots and sweet potato orange, is the same stuff that the body converts into vitamin A. It's a type of antioxidant. But don't go racing off to buy Vitamin A supplements because too much vitamin A can become toxic. Eeek! So get a bunch of carrots and some more sweet potato in your diet instead. When it comes to betacarotene the body only converts what it needs meaning you help your eyesight without any nasty side effects.
