Yesterday Tahlia and I took a quick trip to Sydney to (a) have a follow up session with the surgeon and (b) meet with another modelling agency. Between the two appointments there was time for some shopping, yoghurt and lunch. I also managed to check out some book stores. I've really grown to like Newtown. I think Miss Tahlia agrees.

ReplyDeleteWe're big fans of Newtown and visit every few weeks (one advantage of being a Sydney resident but before I sound smug, there's the traffic and hectic pace...)
We love the theatre, eclectic shops(it's still a strip not a mall!) and of course the cafes and restaurants.
The best thing about Newtown though, is the lack of judgment - you can be any colour, shape, gender or creed and no one will bat an eyelid!!

ReplyDeleteI've been to Newtown before but only briefly. Is there a big hospital near there? I think that's where my friend had to drop in for a check up. That's was years ago. Looks like a nice day to be out and about :)
