Christmas came in July for us yesterday.
Last Christmas Nanny bought the kids and I tickets to the Lion King. It was a long time waiting - but finally, yesterday was the day! So we headed to Goulburn, jumped on a bus with Nanny and a bunch of other Goulburnites and headed to the Big Smoke for some all-you-can-eat buffet luncheon at The Star Casino and then the show of elephant proportions at the Capitol Theatre! Photos were strictly prohibited during the Lion King so I have had to steal some from the inter-webs so you can see just how bloody spectacular this event actually is. I had child-like tears in my eyes as the animals entered the show from the back of the room and walked down the aisles right next to us. Disney has a way of making you cry with wonder, excitement and dreams. If you have the opportunity to see this show, do it! It's something you will remember forever.
