Beautiful table decorations with so much to see, touch and taste |
On Sunday I chaperoned Tahlia Jane to an event so that she could walk the runway.
Sweet Chari-Tea is in its second year of raising money for the Paediatrics at the Canberra Hospital (PaTCH). It's not your average high tea by any means. This event is like Alice in Wonderland meets Happy Days meets Laura Ashley meets the Queen.
With the support of a number of creative businesses every table is decorated in a very individual and artistic style with guests dressing in theme for their particular table. Food and bubbles are served all afternoon as guests chat, participate in auctions, raffles and enjoy the entertainment including ballet, music, comedy and a fashion show featuring Rockstars and Royalty as well as Gwynnie's Emporium.
Tahlia walked for both clothing labels as I helped out around the edges (stuffing gift bags) and then sat up in the attic and watched it all happen below me.
The view was amazing. Very worthy of a lot of photos on this (almost) Wordless Wednesday.
