Day 1839 - Garlic breath

Ever woken up on the day of a big meeting, interview or client session thinking "shit" because you indulged in garlic the night before?  Don't fear! There are foods that can help with that.  Raw apple, lemon and mint top the list of foods that can help freshen your breath after a garlicky meal. Green tea, spinach and parsley also help.

Apparently the garlic smell lingers because of a compound called allyl methyl sulphide which doesn't break down during digestion so ends up coming out of our body via our breath and through our sweat.
