Day 1900 - Planes: Fire and Rescue

Time for another movie review

This time it's another Disney flick.  I love Disney, and I love Pixar and I loved that whole "Cars" franchise, so this is the perfect movie for someone who loves all those things.  And can I just add, it's good for any age.

Released on DVD, Digital and Blu-ray on 10 December, Planes Fire and Rescue is the perfect stocking stuffer this Christmas.

When world-famous air racer Dusty learns that his engine is damaged and may never race again, he shifts gears and launches himself into the world of aerial firefighting and must learn what it takes to become a true hero.

This movie is all about second chances and doing things for the greater good of the community, and features an all-new dynamic crew of elite fire fighting aircraft.  It's the perfect combination of comedy and adventure inside the magic of animation.

As usual stars are lining up to get involved in these Disney flicks. Voices include Dane Cook, Ed Harris, Julie Bowen, Teri Hatcher and Curtis Armstrong.

The movie goes for 80 minutes and is rated G.

It has everything the kids love (including farting noises) and a bunch of double meanings and funny anecdotes for the parents.  Definitely something for everyone!

To check it out, here's the trailer.

Fun, fun, FUN!

With AC/DC to boot. That makes any movie worth watching ....

I ran a competition on Deep Fried Facebook this week to give away THREE Planes Fire and Rescue DVDs. What a riot! So many adults making planes, fire and rescue noises to get in the draw.  Best competition yet.  The winners were Sara McCoy, Megan Turner and Christial Shea.  Congrats ladies!

Stay tuned for more movie reviews and give-aways in 2015.  There's nothing like Disney to keep you feeling young and less Deep Fried.
