Get a nautical vibe into your wardrobe this summer.
What does a Deep Fried woman of the world wear when she's wandering along a coastal boardwalk? Nautical gear of course.
I absolutely love this relaxed fit linen shirt dress from Target. It's in the boating theme with chambray stripe and it only cost me $25. It does require ironing though which is the only bummer. You know me .... I am allergic to ironing.
Despite the need for ironing, it looks great with a rope style necklace and moccasin style shoe - my shoes are from KMart ($15).
Simple silver accessories finish it off and I chose a coral coloured lippy.
Other beachy necessities are a basket to throw all your stuff in and some Pantene volume boost dry shampoo for after the sun, surf and sand.
A big shout out to my bestie Cathy who gave me the Alex and Ani energy bangle for Christmas. The charm reads "Today is an Opportunity" and 20% of the proceeds from the sale of this bangle was donated to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network during the month of December. I love a gift that gives twice. Even better is a gift that reminds me every day to think of my friends and remember the possibilities.
The dress and shoe combination cost me a total of $40. Bargain!
