Do you weigh in?
There's much debate about whether we should weigh ourselves or not (or even own scales at all) because of the negative impact the "numbers" may have on our young girls. Personal trainers will often prefer to measure key body parts rather than take note of kilos due to the weight of muscle. But a recent study from Tempere University of Technology in Finland has found that weekly weigh-ins do help people stick to their goals. If losing weight is something you need to do, then they recommend stepping onto the scales at least once a week. The numbers don't lie and are a great motivating factor.
Tip: hop on the scales at the same time and day every week for the most accurate record of how you're tracking.
