More effect, fewer ingredients.

As you know I often get sent stuff from PR companies to review. The products I'm interested in are the ones that help us with the aging process so that we can feel good in our skin.  It's all about feeling fit and fabulous. Agree?

I usually get sent full size products that last me months so that I can truly get a feel for the product before I shout about it.

If I don't like it, I don't shout about it.

If I don't have time for it, I don't shout about it.

If I DO like it, then you'll see it here.

So here I am with the new Bioeffect EGF Serum. This teeny tiny bottle of oil.  When I first saw it I thought "Are you kidding me? How can I effectively trial this teeny tiny bottle of stuff? That'll be gone in a day!"

Well, guess what. I've been using it for more than a week and it's still half full.  Not half empty (coz we're all positive and rosey glasses at my joint).  It's still half full.

Such a small amount goes a really long way.

So let me tell you about this stuff.  The principle behind bioeffect is the idea of using fewer ingredients.  Less is more and all that.

They say that this new formula excels in rejuvenating ageing skin, leaving it looking "luminous, revitalised and more youthful."  Worth a try right?  This is achieved by bringing the number of ingredients down to just seven and by increasing the concentration of the precious EGF cellular activator.

EGF is part of the natural signalling processes the skin cells use to tell each other to maintain a healthy looking skin.  The new formula of BIOEFFECT EGF SERUM was developed to improve the product's efficacy and to better protect the potency of the cellular activator.  It all sounds very scientific!

In addition to the EGF this serum includes glycerine, pure Icelandic spring water, hyaluronic acid, one of the most powerful moisturisers around and barley seed extract.

It was first launched in Iceland in 2010 and has since become highly successful internationally and is now launching in top perfumeries, department stores and beauty salons.

It's won a bunch of awards including at the Danish Beauty Awards, the GALA Spa Awards in Germany and the European Biotechnology Awards.

I don't know about all that stuff, all that I know is that this teeny tiny bottle they sent me to test has lasted me a long time. I've been using it around my eyes and on my forehead and although it's way too soon to see results yet, I can safely say it makes me feel good.

And that's the main thing right?

This little gem can be bought for around $195 at a bunch of stores including Sephora, and
