Day 2052 - Product Review: Olay Regenerist Moisturiser #Olay

The cold weather can really dry out your skin.

A combination of cold air, wind and indoor heating can really suck the moisture out of our skin. This can leave the skin dry and dull and can also cause irritation and itchiness.  Add to that those long extra hot showers we take in the morning to "wake up" and "warm up" and our poor ol' skin can really cop a beating.

It's more important than ever to moisturise the skin in winter, in particular those parts of the body that are most exposed to the elements.  The hands, face and neck.

Enter Olay Regenerist Moisturiser.

You know I'm a fan.  I always have been. Olay works well for me and really speaks my language. The language of "boosting natural skin renewal" and "reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles".

Basically it's the language of aging positively and that's after all what this blog and I are all about.

A few years ago Olay apparently pitted itself against a major $250 a jar luxe cream competitor in the USA with results showing that Olay's Micro-Sculpting Cream Moisturiser regenerates the surface skin by up to two times faster than their luxe cream competitor.  Isn't that interesting?

The best news is it's nowhere near that $250 price tag.  You can get Olay for around $50 a jar (or even $30 if you have a Chemist Warehouse in your local area).  Another Deep Fried bonus.

So the bottom line is, it's winter and we should care for our skin.  If we don't we risk looking very Deep Fried.

Olay Regenerist Moisturiser - my product of the week.

  1. I used wear Olay all the time. Not sure why I stopped but it definitely wasn't because I didn't like their product or anything. Will have to try this cream.

    1. I just love that it's stood the test of time, is always evolving and remains affordable :)

I love hearing your thoughts! Keep them rolling in :)
