Watching the birth of a new day |
Why? Because I just feel so empowered when I get up before the rest of the world. I feel like I can move mountains. It makes me feel so in control of my day and inspired to create greatness.
I'm lucky that my daughter feels the same way. We get to go for our morning walks before the sun rises. We get to watch the birth of each new day and we get to seize it on our terms.
Do you seize the day?
Not until after I have a cup of coffee. Thanks for linking up for Wordless Wednesday!
ReplyDeleteLOL. I actually don't drink coffee ... but there are days that I can understand the appeal.
DeleteYes, Leanne - I definitely Seize The Day! I even named by blog after my mantra... LOL :-D I was up for the sunrise this morning too, but it was mostly grey and cloudy here, just a tiny dash of tangerine to tease us with. Enjoy your day :-)
ReplyDeleteAnd that's why I'm so attracted to your blog Lyndall! LOL. You are a woman after my own heart.
DeleteI seize the night, lol! I've always been a night owl and no matter how hard I try I just can't do mornings. I wish I could. But I find I'm at my best and most productive at night, once the girls are sleeping. I can sit on the lounge and work while watching crappy TV.
ReplyDeleteI think I might turn into a rat at night. I get grumpy. Like non-morning people do before their coffee. Maybe I'm the one living in reverse?
DeleteSummer is over and I should have started walking early.Next time.
ReplyDeleteLove your photos Leanne.
I'm like Kylie seize the night due to years of afternoon shift as a nurse.
Ah yes! Shift work would definitely change things.
DeleteTahlia and I were just talking about our winter walks. 6.00am in complete black and fog and minus temps is pretty damn eerie. We still did it last year though ... but it can get a bit scary! Not quite as pleasant as it is now that's for sure.
What a beautiful photo ...now i am ready to get out of bed ...joking heheh!
ReplyDeleteHave a exercisetastic day :-)
Haha. Seize the day Steve, seize the day! Just returned from our morning walk. Was another gorgeous one.
DeleteHow lovely to spend your mornings walking with your daughter Leanne. And gorgeous capture!
ReplyDeleteIt's definitely a time to treasure. I'll miss it so terribly when she moves away (which she is hoping to do next year). What will I do?
DeleteI stay up too late to get up so early. I do like the early morning though and there will come a time in my life when I will be an early riser again. Your walks in the morning sound like something I would enjoy.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely a great start to my day. I'm not hating it yet! Although the Canberra winters can be a little harder to tackle in the pre dawn.
DeleteSuch a lovely capture!
ReplyDeleteThanks Pixie Dusk!
DeleteThen again a few individuals need to be close and comfortable hence will require a much littler tent. Be that as it may, it is shrewd to buy a tent more prominent than your foreseen needs.
ReplyDeleteVacation planning is fun and easy so you don't need to get overwhelmed. The first thing I want you to do is to take a deep breath and don't panic. If you've never done this before, relax. I am here to help you with some simple steps to plan a great vacation.

ReplyDeleteI have climbed, stayed outdoors, chased, and angled from the Sahara abandon in Libya to the Canadian mountain wilds. An imperative thought before any open air outdoors or climbing trip is security.
