Today I give you beach views
Here is a snippet of the world as seen through my eyes these past two weeks. As I dream of the exotic locations I may visit this year, I realise that my regular beach side travels are quite "exotic" to some.
These photos were taken at Tomakin and North Durras, both of which are in the Bateman's Bay area of the NSW South Coast.
Sometimes in order to travel to faraway places, we've simply got to open our eyes and view our own space through the eyes of others.
This post is part of the Travel series I'll be rolling out over the next 18 months as I celebrate 50.

Gorgeous! I do think for beaches there's not really any point going anywhere else. Australia has them down pat. I also like to got to the Harbour and Opera House on the reg, as even after all these years, they never cease to buoy me with their beauty and charm.
ReplyDeleteI know right! And yes, Sydney has so much to see and admire and be grateful for.
DeleteBeautiful beaches! Happy travel planning :)
ReplyDeleteWe're doing the Caribbean this year for my 50th. Can't wait!
DeleteThe beach. Quintessentially Australia. Loved the pics and I need to visit my local beaches more. I used to when we lived 5 minutes away instead of 20 like now. Early evening yesterday I drove to the beach to put my feet in the water and absorb all the goodness that IS the ocean. Denyse x
ReplyDeleteI love your beach pics
DeleteMan, I love the South Coast. Just gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteSo many little inlets and hidey holes. So different than anywhere else. Sheltered spots that are so private.
DeleteThis beachy post makes me so happy!

DeleteWhat beautiful images. As you say, our own backyards are definitely exotic to many and we should make the most of them. Happy travel planning and looking forward to sharing your adventures online :)
ReplyDeleteI am looking forward to sharing them!
DeleteThe beach is my happy place.
ReplyDeleteMine too.
DeleteAustralia has the BEST beaches doesn't it Leanne? Our SW ones here in WA are white and the sand is so fine and squeaky - I just love them + the clear sea water as well.
ReplyDeleteI think Australia has some of the best beaches! Even though I live near the coast, I don't go to the beach often, but perhaps I should. Enjoy! and thank you for link up.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous photo's Leanne ... and I am sooooo craving a beach getaway at the moment!! I love your Fabulous, Inspiration, Fitness, Travel, Youthfulness (FIFTY) idea! :-) #TeamLovinLife
